CTMA has two classes of membership, Regular membership or Associate Membership.

Regular Member Benefits:

Because we are a Chapter of a National Association, our members receives benefits both locally and nationally.  NTMA's and CTMA's Associate Members provide discounts programs to our Regular members for:

There are many benefits of Associate Membership.  As an Associate Member, you will receive a copy of our CT Membership Directory and will be eligible for the following CTMA services:

Member Capability Showcase: Our annual "trade show" membership meeting, showcasing our Associate and Regular Member's capabilities held in early Spring.  Sponsorship opportunities are also available.  
 
Monthly Membership Meetings: Industry speakers make presentations on diverse topics such as labor law, lean manufacturing, economic trends, quality and certification.  Scheduled shop tours, trade shows, a golf tournament along with regularly scheduled meetings throughout the year, provide robust networking opportunities. Some of our Associate Members present at our monthly membership meetings, as approved by the Program and Events Committee.
 
Networking Breakfast Meetings: Business owners and key personnel meet in an informal facilitated setting to discuss effective business strategies.

• Lean Networking Group meets on the second Tuesday of the month at various machine shops.

Educational Seminars: In-depth, informative seminars on areas such as sales and marketing, employee training, management, human resources and succession planning.  (Educational seminars have been facilitated by some of our Associate Members, upon approval of the content by CTMA’ Program and Events Committee).

Government Relations: Updates on legislative issues from the Connecticut General Assembly, which directly affect your manufacturing clients’ business.

Benefit Programs: Access to competitive insurance, telecommunication, equipment financing and office supply group discount programs.

Electronic Communication: Monthly E-Newsletters and regular Information, Opportunities and Updates (IOUs) keep CTMA members informed about environmental issues, government relations, technology, meeting news and member-to-member requests.  Advertising opportunities are also available to Associate Members.

Sponsorship Opportunities: Various levels of sponsorships for our Member Capabilities Showcase and our annual Golf Tournament.
